Indexing and Discoverability

The Canadian Journal of Architecture is newly established, and this page states plainly where it stands. It will be updated as each step completes.

Current

•      The journal’s platform exposes article metadata in standard formats (OAI-PMH, Dublin Core), which supports discovery through scholarly search services, including Google Scholar, once articles are published.

•      Published content is preserved through the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS distributed archiving networks supported by the platform.

In Progress

•      ISSN registration through ISSN Canada (Library and Archives Canada).

•      Crossref membership and DOI registration, following the ISSN.

Planned

•      Application to the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) once the journal meets the eligibility requirement of published content.

•      Applications to Scopus and Web of Science after the sustained publishing record those services require, normally two or more years.

The journal does not claim inclusion in any index in which it does not appear, and asks readers to treat any such claim, anywhere, as a warning sign about a journal.
